2 cups (about 3-4 ears of corn)
Arepa flour (pre-cooked cornmeal)

Milk

Sugar

Salt

Unsalted butter, melted

Queso fresco, crumbled
1 cup
Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup

Preparing the Arepas

Blend Corn Kernels

In a blender, pulse corn kernels until they are a coarse pulp.

Avoid over-blending the corn to prevent a gummy texture.

In a bowl, mix the corn pulp, arepa flour, milk, sugar, salt, and melted butter until a dough forms.

Adjust the milk quantity if the dough seems too dry or too wet.

Cover and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
