Preparing the Rice Batter

Drain and Blend Rice

Drain the soaked rice and transfer it to a blender.

Add Yogurt, Sugar, and Cardamom

Add yogurt, sugar, and cardamom into the blender.

Blend until smooth, adding water as necessary to achieve a batter-like consistency.

Ensure the batter is smooth to prevent clumps.

Stir in Ghee and Salt

Stir in melted ghee and salt. Let rest for 30 minutes.

Allow the batter to rest to enhance flavors.

Cooking Process

Fry the Sel Roti

Heat oil in a deep pan. Pour a ladle of batter in a ring shape directly into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown on each side.
