Preparing the Porridge
Start the Porridge
In a large pot, combine the rinsed rice, chicken broth, turmeric, lemongrass, and sweet corn.
Simmer
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for approximately 40 minutes until the rice breaks down.
