Ingredients

For the Macadamia Nut Crust

1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped

For the Haupia Filling

2 cups of coconut milk
1 cup of whole milk
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of cornstarch

For the Whipped Topping

1 cup of heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Preparing the Macadamia Nut Crust

Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Combine ingredients

In a bowl, combine flour, melted butter, sugar, and chopped macadamia nuts.

Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan.

Chill the pie crust in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before baking to prevent shrinkage.

Stir continuously while cooking the filling to prevent lumps.
