Combine Ingredients

In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and salt.

2

Blend Smooth

Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to achieve a creamy consistency.

3

Let It Rest

Set aside to allow flavors to meld.

Making the Pita Chips

1

Preheat Oven

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

2

Toss Pita Pieces

Toss pita pieces with olive oil and salt.

3

Bake

Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until crispy and golden.

Ensure the pita chips don't overlap when baking to achieve an even crunch. You can also sprinkle a bit of sumac on the pita chips before baking for an extra layer of flavor.

Mix Yogurt Sauce

In a bowl, mix yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, and salt until well combined.
