150g ground pork
1 small onion — finely chopped
2 cloves garlic — minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons water

1 bay leaf
Salted water for boiling

Preparing the Dough

Whisk flour and salt

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.

Make a well in the center and add the egg and water.

Knead the dough

Knead the mixture until a smooth dough forms. Wrap in plastic and let rest for 30 minutes.

Mixing the Filling

Combine filling ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and water.

Mix thoroughly until well combined. Cover and refrigerate if not using immediately.

Ensure the filling is well mixed to avoid air pockets. Use cold ingredients to keep the filling firm and easy to handle.

Cooking Process

Roll out the rested dough on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness.

Cut the dough into circles, fill with a teaspoon of meat mixture, and seal the edges tightly.

Boil the dumplings

Boil in salted water with a bay leaf until they float, approximately 5-7 minutes.
