Chef’s Tip:

Preparation

Preparing the Balsamic Drizzle

1

Combine ingredients

In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey.

2

Bring to a boil

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer.

3

Reduce mixture

Stir occasionally until the mixture is reduced by half and coats the back of a spoon.

Be careful not to over-reduce the balsamic as it may become too sticky or bitter. Allow the drizzle to cool slightly before drizzling.

Assembling the Bruschetta

1

Preheat and prepare bread

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.

2

Toast baguette slices

Toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden and crisp.

Cooking Process

1

Sautéing cherry tomatoes

Lightly dry sauté cherry tomato halves with a pinch of salt.

2

Toasting bread

Crisp the baguette slices in the oven until golden brown.

3

Assembling bruschetta

Layer the tomato halves, burrata, and torn basil on each slice, finished with a drizzle of balsamic reduction.

Never leave hot oil unattended. Keep a lid nearby …
