Green plantains
3, peeled
Vegetable oil
1 cup (for frying)
Salt
to taste

Salt and pepper

Preparing the Plantains

Slice the plantains

Slice each peeled plantain into 1-inch thick slices.

Heat the oil

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Do not overcrowd the frying pan as this may lower the oil temperature, leading to uneven cooking.

Fry the plantain slices until golden, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Making the Avocado Salsa

In a mixing bowl, combine diced avocados, red onion, tomato, and lime juice.
