Soak the white hominy corn overnight in a large bowl of water.
Drain and Rinse
Drain and rinse the corn before using.
Preparing the Sweet Coconut Drizzle
Combine Ingredients
In a small saucepan, combine coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, and dissolved cornstarch.
Cook Until Thick
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened.

Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

Cooking Process
Simmer the Corn
Combine soaked corn, water, cinnamon stick, and cloves in a pot. Bring to a boil and simmer until the corn is tender, about 1–1.5 hours.
Prepare the Base
Add whole milk, coconut milk, sugar, and salt to the pot. Continue to simmer for 30 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
Finalize the Dessert
Remove the cinnamon stick and cloves before serving. Drizzle with sweet coconut topping.
